Description: Perot Systems Corporation, an international leader in information technology consulting and services has an opening for an AIX System Administrator to assume a leadership role in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The individual will assume immediate day to day operational responsibility of the support of the Data Center UNIX system environment, including system installs, configuration, O/S upgrades and performance tuning. The candidate will also provide program product support, propose and implement new technology to enhance the maintenance and operations of the systems, as well as provide mentoring and guidance to junior administrators. The environment consists of a Multi-Platform UNIX system with HP9000, SureStore Tape Silo, EMC storage, HP-UX 10.20/11.0, and AIX 4.3.3.

The qualified candidate will have Knowledge of UNIX architecture, structures and internals, shell programming, cluster management, storage management and network utilities. Experience with HPUX is a plus. Effective communication skills, change control, teamwork, project management and customer service skills are essential
