Try tweaking your network attribute first

udp_sendspace and udp_recvspace
tcp_sendspace and tcp_recvspace

these parameters is controlled by sb_max

You can view this, by the command

no -a
no -o sb_max

and set the new value by

no -o sb_max=new_value

: : Hi,

: : I have a ftp problem on one of my IBM H50 servers. When we try to ftp a file from the H50 server to another server, it takes a very long time.

: : However, when we ftp the file to a third server and then into the second server, it is much faster!

: : Thinking it to be a network problem, we did an ftp from the first server to the third server and there was no problem (all the servers are sitting on the same network segment).

: : Are there any settings that needs to be done?

: : Wld appreciate any help!
