You can't change the creation date as it isn't stored anywhere on the filesystem.
What is referred as the creation date is really the last status changed date of the file,
this date can be altered by the command "touch".

If your read the manual page for the stat(2) function,
the inode only contains the following dates.

Last File accessed
ls -l
Last Data modification
ls -lu
Last File status changed
ls -lc
