You can get the source for apache at www.apache.org

If you're running solaris 7 or lower (apache is already
included on solaris 8) you can also download an
apache-1.3.6 package at www.sunfreeware.com.

pkgadd -d apache-1.3.6.sol7-intel-local

/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start

Then your web server is up and running, you
test it by pointing your browser to your machine
name (e.g. netscape http://localhost )

The default html files are located at
/usr/local/apache/htdocs

: I'd like to know if any one is awear and/or may know the
: way by which to develop a WEB site using a UNIX op-sys
: (Solaris environment). I beleave there is a procedure
: named "Apachee" that is used to carry out this matter.
